REPENTANCE, CONFESSION, CLEANSING

Scripture: Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my concerns. See if there is any offensive way in me; lead me in the everlasting way. Psalm 139:23,24.

For I am conscious of my rebellion, and my sin is always before me. Against You—You alone—I have sinned and done this evil in Your sight. So You are right when You pass sentence; You are blameless when You judge. Surely You desire integrity in the inner self, and You teach me wisdom deep within.

Psalm 51:3,4,6.

Reflection: Take time for God to search your heart and show you its true condition and its utter sinfulness.

Prayer: God, shine your light in my heart and show me my sins. Reveal to me all my sins and shortcomings.
